Waiting behind the doors for a shot on Independence Day, Brent turned to Robert Loggia and brought up an old Disney show he had loved as a kid, The Nine Lives of El Fuego Baca. Loggia launched straight into the theme song and performed the whole thing. After that, Brent says, the two of them were fine.

Brent watched Robert Duvall open American Buffalo on Broadway from the balcony, and noticed a man in the front row who seemed to be asleep. On the shop desk sat a can of peanuts. Without breaking the monologue, Duvall scooped up a handful and threw them at the man, who woke with a jump.
